ouch!

my arms hurt!! can't straigthen them at all..thanks to the training yesterday evening..we did gym for abt 45mins, 3sets x 8reps of chin-ups (assisted of course..), and a 2.4km run..that was enough to kill..considering how long it has been since the last time i did all these.. -.-

countdown to IPPT: 21 days..
criteria to pass: (note that i'm only going for a PASS..not bad already, still got $100 lor..hehe)
sit-ups >> 33
Standing board jump >> 221cm
chin-ups >> 5
shuttle-run >> >10.6secs
2.4km run >> >12:40

with some extra effort, i think these targets are achievable.. :)

i've come up with a simple work-out regime to help me shed the unwanted tire (according to CL) and build up my muscular endurance:
Mon - crunches (2sets x 50reps), lower leg raise (2sets x 50reps), diamond push-ups (2sets x 20reps), spider push-ups (2sets x 20reps), bicep curls (2sets of 10reps)

Tues - RT

Wed - crunches (2sets x 50reps), lower leg raise (2sets x 50reps), diamond push-ups (2sets x 20reps), spider push-ups (2sets x 20reps), bicep curls (2sets of 10reps)

Thurs - 2.4km run

Fri - crunches (2sets x 50reps), lower leg raise (2sets x 50reps), diamond push-ups (2sets x 20reps), spider push-ups (2sets x 20reps), bicep curls (2sets of 10reps)

Sat - Swimming

Sun - RT

but of cos i got to watch my diet as well. hmm..means that this saturday's BBQ i can only eat abit only...sad leh -.- but bo bian, need to forego some of the luxuries and delicious food for the time being...haha..
