Just finished watching Rocky Balboa. It might not be a great show to most people, but it certainly was to me. It's suppose to be the final sequel of the inspirational Rocky series, with Rocky I dating back to 1976. I watched all of them :) all of them on the big screen, well that is with the exception of Rocky I which i actually watched on vcd. No prizes for correct guesses why. :)

Lots of flashbacks and old faces throughout the show, which made me like the show even more. People who know really knows me will understand why :) Not only that, there were also lessons to be learnt from this show. Maybe not to all, but at least i did. Go on, watch the show. You might learn something too :)

Life Journey

Went visiting this afternoon after lunch at centre. First stop was TTSH to visit LX's dad, followed by Aunty Shenghua at Bukit Batok. We prayed and sang by their beds, and even took a pic with Aunty Shenghua.

In the midst of all these, I paused to ponder about how fragile our life is. Several of our church elderlys passed away during the last few weeks whilst a few of them are not in very good condition at the moment. One day, maybe both you and I will face similar trials as well. God is fair. What He gives, He will take back when He deems fit. He lets us endure trials and tests so that our faith may grow. He does that so that we experience Him. But most imptly, he does that so that He may work His wonders through us. Someone once sent me this sms to encourage me. To date, I still feel encouraged everytime i see it:

On my way home, I saw this girl wearing a t-shirt with this message printed on the back: " Life is a journey where the final destination is unknown.."
Kinda scary isn't it? Its like taking a bus without knowing where or when it'll stop. Fortunately, i know where my destination in my life is. Do you?

Initial D on TPE...

Ever sat in Jay Chou's AE86 in Initial D? Well, i did just a couple of hrs ago..yeah no kiddin. But instead of the <藤原豆腐店> logo on the door, there was "COMFORT". Its a Toyota alright, but instead of the black and white Trueno, its a blue Toyota Crown. And instead of Jay Chou, its a malay uncle who literally zig-zagged his way from Ang Mo Kio to Tampines in 13mins, Michael Schumacher style. I repeat, 13mins! You have any idea how fast that is!?! That's like almost half the time a NORMAL car will take to cover the same route. At one point i saw the meter reading 145kmh. For a moment I thought I was nv going to make it home alive. But thank God I managed to reach home in one piece. My life was kept, but not my appetite for dinner though. The constant jerking of the cab made me wanna throw up. But looking on the bright side, I got to reach home 12mins earlier and plus I get to refrain myself from eating and putting on more weight. lol...

At long last...

Finally, an update!!! In case you guys have been wondering whether I've disappeared, well...no I've not. :) My PC "upped the lorry" beginning Dec06 and I had to endure 3 weeks without a PC! Anyway that's not the point. Most imptly, I'm back, for 2007! ;)

Will post more when I have an idea of what to write. Now no form...go sleep first. Long day ahead tomorrow. Month end closing again -.-
