sick sick sick...

i'm sick of being sick -.- well who isn't?

have been down with flu since sunday..and it always has to be SUNDAY!!! irritating... -.-

Struggled to work on Monday but couldn't take it no more so decided to take MC on tues. Went back to work on Wed but still wasn't 100% fighting fit. Initially wanted to leave earlier at 3plus but ended up OT till 8pm -.-" too many things to clear before my Taiwan trip nxt Wed.


Stress level has hit a new high this week. Was having a chat with 阿俊yesterday and he told me not to screw up this Taiwan Budget else that is it! 1st time handling such a big assignment and you get someone breathing down your neck and saying that to u. Now, tell me you won't feel stressed? Ha...


I must admit that I haven't been in the best of physical and spiritual health this year. Maybe that's why feeling stressed easily. Seems like my threshold for stress tolerance isn't that great after all. *shrug*


Time really does zoom by when you are pre-occupied with things. Tomorrow is Friday and I am just glad weekend is nearing. I have been doing so little God's work during the week. Missed 三福 on Mon, missed meeting on Wed..terrible. Weekend is the time I look forward to. Going TQ, getting closer to God than I really ought to be. Enough slacking! Time to pull up your socks Alvin!


Tomorrow is 拍托day! Haven't seen her for more than a week..hur...and after this weekend I won't be seeing her for another 10 days!! Sometimes I really wish we can meet more often. Maybe its good for her in a way cos she has 3 assignments due during that period. So without me around pestering her she can probably concentrate more. *wink*

at long last! after struggling for 2 days, finally managed to hook up to the Internet again.

Either way, don't really have the time and energy to blog lately. Nothing to update anyway, just boring work stuff. -.- Got news yesterday that I need to make a trip down to Taiwan office from 28 Mar - 6 Apr to help them out with their Budget. Hmmm, its been 4yrs plus since i last visited Taiwan, with the last trip being in Oct'02. Wonder how much Taipei has changed. Will get the chance to spend one weekend touring Taipei (provided don't have to work those 2 days. Keeping my fingers crossed..;P)

But the sian thing is that i'll be there alone. Unlike the IS dept who always travel together, either with own dept or some other dept ppl. But alone also good lah, time to get closer to God :) Also I heard from Isaac that the TV prog there is shiok lah! So who knows i might end up spending most of my time in my hotel room. ^ ^

well, don't think so much. Trip is still 3wks away. In the meantime gotta concentrate on going through the whole budget process before going there. Another long day ahead later, but at least its a Friday so not so bad..hehe...looking forward to seeing my J.O! its been almost a week... :)

oughta get some sleep now...*yawn*

Day 1

It's been a hectic and, to a certain extent, stressful day at work today. I could actually feel my migraine building up as soon as i switched on my computer 1st thing in the morning. Bad right? Thank God it went away as the day dragged on.

From 8.30am crunch numbers, make phonecalls and rush reports all the way until lunch time. Didn't even realised it was 12noon until Shawn asked me to dabao lunch for him. Lunch group was so different today. Ah Guan in Shanghai, Rachel on maternity leave, Peter run errand, Shawn lunch in and plus Nana not around anymore. Felt so 冷清 lor. End up only me and Isaac from our lunch grp left. Kat, Shelley and Chestine did join us though. So quiet without Nana around. No more jokes to crack us up..and feels so weird seeing a guy sitting at her place instead. LOL...

After lunch continued to slog like a buffalo. I was so engrossed in my work that I didn't even recognise 40's voice when she called me to jio me for kopi. It was only when she said: "你不认得我的声音？相死是吗?" then i started to realise it was her. LOL..paiseh wor 40..hehe...enjoy your trip to Shanghai..and do remember to get us some DVDs eh? :)

Tomorrow Day 2. Early morning got back to back discussions from 9.30am onwards. diaoz...-.-" hopefully dun have to work late so I can meet my J.O. Tuesday is the only day we can meet liao. Her study schedule is so hectic, every Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri got classes! Must take care of your health wor, J.O! ;)

Need to sleep earlier tonight. Else tomorrow yawn during discussion..keke..

sorry for not posting this earlier as promised 40. Somehow could not hook on to my broadband for the past couple of days. Must have messed up some configuration when i was trying to help my sis connect her Mac last Thursday. 真是越帮越忙！Anyway my sis, ironically, managed to help me resolve the connection error so here I am.. ;)

Ok, anyway was 'supposed' to post this up on what, Thursday and make a "public" apology to 40. Better late than never, so...

made a desperate attempt to minimise the damage done to 40's workstation by bombarding her place with some air freshener i borrowed from Sherry. Did it smell better? ;)
