rain rain go away

I wonder when the rain will stop. Its been ongoing since yesterday, and it doesn't look like its gonna stop anytime soon.

I hate to admit it but i think I'm getting old-ER than I once was. DUH. Feeling so zonked right now, and the running nose makes it even worse than it already is.

Already fell sick with sore throat and running nose after my paper on Thurs, didn't recover fully and went for my company's D&D last night (which by the way wasn't fantastic and yes, I did not win anything. Maybe that's why I didn't find it fun..sour grapes haha). Anyway food and entertainment apart, I just enjoy hanging out with my wonderful colleagues (some, not all... :P) as usual. Kel and Min sneaked in to join us towards the end, hehe..Think they had some post D&D activities and as much as I wanted to, I couldn't join (for the 2nd yr running -.-) because I had a more important event to attend today - yes! Joshua and Suzanna's wedding :)

And so after sleeping for merely 4.5hrs, I dragged myself out of bed and made my way down to Suzanna's hse early this morning at 7.30am to rescue Joshua from the Ah Yee's torture. (sounds so much more heroic than it really was :P). Thank God things went smoothly, everything. :) After the whole thing still had to attend a meeting at Baoshun laoshi's hse for meeting. Thankfully it didn't last too long, just over an hour :) Everyone was sooooo exhausted.

And now the fatigue is settling in. And my running nose is back. Pffft. -.- Gonna go wash up and start studying again.. -.-

p.s Thank you for your words of encouragement to "Kelvin", CL :) And you're right, it is STUPID! haha...anyway I came up with a name for him - Paul Shawn. Hiak hiak... ^^

on leave

Ok, I'm officially on leave today! not for holidays though..but to prepare for my 2 papers.. -.- No more logging in to FB, no more watching TV, no more logging in to Citrix, no more work related stuff from now till 12 Dec.

My folks will be travelling to Vietnam and China for the next 11 days, so that'll leave me all alone at home, and all the household chores... -.-

Anyway had a great dinner last night at Dempsey with my colleagues. Food at Sami's Curry was great, but the company was the best I'd say. Must really thank Pansy for organising. Hopefully the next outing won't be too far away. :)

Talking about dinner last night makes me hungry..time to get lunch and my daily dosage of caffeine from the kopitiam. And after that, its back to my notes again
