Dilemma

Crap timing. That's all I can say.

Nothing much we can do now but pray.

(I know it sounds like a poem, but trust me its not. Am a very frustrated man at this moment)

Unit selection

With my ICT deferment out of the way, next thing on my mind now is our appointment to select our unit next Monday. Hopefully our targeted units will not be snatched away between tomorrow and next Monday 4.15pm! *Fingers and toes crossed. Eyes also abit crossed*

In need of a refreshing shower before I get back to my notes again.

Deferment approved!

WOOHOO!!! Just received a call from my S3 that my deferment has been approved!! She told me that they don't normally approve deferment due to work commitments considering ample notice was given by them in the first place. God really works wonders! :)

Anxiety

Still no news on the deferment of my ICT. Getting kinda anxious. -.-"

To ease myself from all the anxiety, I went window shopping on eBay again. And guess what I saw? These lovely AJ1s. Aren't these gorgeous? *drooling* But it'll cost a bomb (approx S$450) before I get to lay my hands on these babies. Was so tempted to click on the "Buy It Now" icon but after much self-psychoing and a pinch of self-discipline, I managed to convince myself that I'm merely doing window shopping. Hehe.

Hope my HR dept can settle things with my S3 asap. The uncertainty is killing me!

El Nino 07/08 Season in review

Torres has probably been the only positive amidst another disappointing season for Liverpool. Judging by the way he has taken the EPL by storm in his debut season, I am sure he can only get better. I'll be rooting for him and Spain during Euro 2008.

Stupid Samsung

Argh, my dumb dumb Samsung hp is driving me nuts!! The top part totally cannot function when phone is slid up. Good thing is that its still under warranty. I'm bringing this crappy phone to the Samsung Customer Service Centre at Century Square this Sat, and after that, I'm gonna trade it in for a cheaper and simpler phone. Anyone got any recommendations??

In the meantime I'm trying to defer my reservist which is already scheduled for 23-27 June because of the Finance Conference in Hong Kong that falls during that same week! What are the odds man?! I'm praying hard that the ICT can be deferred. Chances like this don't come by often, and I'm pretty excited about gaining some exposure during this 3-4 day meeting. *Still praying hard*

And speaking of June, boy is my pocket gonna get burnt BIG TIME. 3 weddings and 1 ROM lined up - Melvin's ROM on the 6th, Kai's church wedding and banquet on the 7th, Serina's dinner on the 14th evening and HZ and SH's wedding which also falls on the same day! On top of that both my folks' birthdays also falls in June! (O.O)

As for now, looking forward to the Adidas Sundown Marathon on 31st May evening. Actually I'm only looking forward to supper after that. Hehe...I'm sure that's on most of our minds. :)
